Open House
OPEN HOUSE is a different expression of church arising out of an Alpha course. We are a church plant as part of the wider ministry of Rainham parish church based in the Parsonage Rd area. As part of the church’s Small Group structure, we meet alternative weeks for supper or coffee & cake. This is followed with a discussion based on biblical teaching. We may share experiences and even pray. The atmosphere is informal and everyone is free to take part as they wish.
On 1st Sunday of each month we meet to discuss topical issues over breakfast and on 3rd Sunday of each month we have an informal group meeting. Both meetings are held at the Brenda Blakemore Hall in Upminster Road North. There is leadership team who spearhead OPEN HOUSE under the authority of the vicar.
Our aim is to grow. We follow the core values of Rainham Parish Church and in so doing, we seek to follow Jesus, by applying the Bible’s teaching in our lives. By meeting together we help each other to know God better. We believe OPEN HOUSE, should be a Small Group movement. We grow as more people open their home in this way. We have a simple training programme which explains our values and helps you do this.
